Bob Stowell

Bob has provided comment to several regulators and America’s Credit Union regarding advanced notice of proposed MBL rulemaking and was regularly quoted in the industry press. He was a member of America’s Credit Union Operations Sales and Service Council and America’s Credit Union Lending Council, where he was involved in various national committees and served on the executive committee for many years, in various positions up to and including Chairman of the Board of America’s Credit Union Lending Council.

Bob has been involved with the Burnsville (MN) Chamber of Commerce as Past President and the Chamber PAC committee. He is a past Chairman of the Burnsville Economic Development Commission and the Metropolitan Coalition of Chambers. Bob is also a former Board member for 360 Communities, a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence. Bob has been a Rotarian over 39 years and is a Past District Governor. He is the immediate Past President for the Rotary Club of South Fort Myers.

Bob lives in Fort Myers with his wife Karen, and they recently became grandparents. In addition to spending time with his family, Bob is a multi-engine pilot and a retired part-time deputy sheriff. He is also a huge Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
